ACCESS Foundation Receives Grant from Cabot Corporation

The ACCESS for Education Foundation is excited to announce that it has received a grant from the Cabot Corporation
in support of Educational Outreach in Albuquerque, New Mexico. ACCESS Program volunteers will visit Albuquerque area schools, grades K-12, during the 2009-2010 school year.
K-12 ACCESS Program presentations are fun, grade-level appropriate, and educational. The presentations include an introduction to rockets and spaceflight; videos of actual payload integration and rocket launches; a discussion about aerospace career opportunities; an up-close view of real spaceflight hardware; and space-related giveaways. Presentations also familiarize the students and educators with the ACCESS Program on-line resources and the K-12 Inspirational payload program.
The ACCESS for Education Foundation would like to thank Cabot Corporation for its support of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) educational outreach in Albuquerque, NM.
